トランスジェンダー活動家のバック・エンジェルさんが初来日する！
しかも、都内で撮影会を行う！
というわけで、行ってきました。
会場は神保町の芳賀書店。
入ってすぐ、彼が笑顔で迎えてくれました！
慣れない英語にシドロモドロになりながらも、ドキュメントで見たバックさんの思想や生き方に感動したこと、私自身がBDSM愛好家であり性について考える機会が多いということ、性の文化について普段思うこと…など、短い時間でしたが、沢山お話しができました。
手に持っているのはバックさんがプロデュースしたFTM向けアダルトトイ。
バック・エンジェルさんは、生まれた時は女性で、今は性転換をして男性として生きています。
鍛え抜かれた体、豊かな髭…とてもパワフルでカッコいい！
さて、そんなバックさんを知るきっかけになったのは、あるドキュメント映像。
そのなかで、彼が自分の生まれ持った女性器をあえてオペせず、そのままにしているということを知り、興味が湧きました。
テレビのレポーターに「なぜあそこをそのままにしているの？」と聞かれ、「(自分のあそこが)好きだからですよ。あなたはそうじゃないのですか？」と切り返していて、とても素敵だなと思いました。
「男」とか「女」とか、そういう枠にハマろうとしなくていい。「どう生きるか」ということ、そして「自分を愛してあげること」が大切なんだ。
そんなメッセージを感じました。
それは、私がSMの世界と出会って感じたのものと同じものでした。
パソコンの壁紙にするぐらい好きなので、お会いできて本当に嬉しかった！😭✨

来日中、23日(木)にひたちなかSTORY MONDAYと、27日(月)に新宿二丁目FTM BOIS BAR in GFにイベントに参加されるようです。
